Golf Outing for Scholarships Fund

Our Club hosted its 20th Annual Scholarship Golf Event on May 10, 2016 at Rutgers Golf Course beginning at 8:30am and an awards luncheon at Panico's Italian Restaurant in downtown New Brunswick.The golf event included 100 golfers competing for the top prize along with multiple other prizes featuring a putting contest, long drive contest, and hole in one contests for a BMW from Open Road BMW and a Camaro from Malouf Auto Group.
The club raised over $20000 for college scholarships for High School students from New Brunswick, North Brunswick, and Highland Park. With this 2016 event , our Club will surpass the $300,000 mark in scholarships to date.Each year New Brunswick Rotarians participate in the scholarship interviews and get the opportunity to meet some amazing local students. Criteria for the scholarship include financial need, academic achievements and community service.
