Sharan welcomed several guests. One was Chandam who works for MANVI. She is interested in becoming a member of the club. Rick Phelan, the President of the Edison Rotary Club, had been invited to speak about a project his club is working on to provide money for girls in Calcutta to attend school. His club welcomes financial contributions.

| The Union Rotary Club will be celebrating its 75th anniversary, and Sharan asked if any club members would like to attend the event. He, Joe B., and John will attend. |
| It was a honor to have the two recipients of the Veteran Scholarships that our club gives out at Middlesex County College join us at our meeting. Jessica Gall and Nada Kandil spoke briefly about themselves and how important the scholarships have been to them. |
| Sharan received a thank you note from Mary French the person who started the Dictionary Project. She thanked us for all of our support over the years and said our club has given out a total of 16,000 dictionaries! |
